We have a better understanding of the foundational and operational aspects of the project once the Foundation Phase is completed. It is now time to get started on the application migration portion of your cloud journey. Many feel like this phase is the scariest part of their journey. There’s a lot that could go wrong when migrating applications into a cloud environment, which causes concern about downtime and how everything is going to react when traffic shifts to the new production instances deployed to the cloud. This is why phase one (Foundations / Delivery) is so crucial - it allows us to proceed to the next stages of the project without going in blind.

As we migrate your platforms and applications to the cloud, we thoroughly test each application before determining when to go live. During this time, we also develop a detailed backout strategy so that we can quickly restore everything to the way it was before, in case we encounter a worst-case scenario. We always plan for worst-case scenarios so that you can be confident that we always have your best interests in mind.

In the end, you will have an application that has been successfully migrated and you will then be taking production traffic. It feels great to have finished a successful migration, doesn’t it? Well, we aren’t done yet! There are still a few more phases we need to complete that will contribute directly to the success of the project.
